If that sounds like you, we'd love to talk!Job Summary: Clean Crop Technologies is a cutting-edge agricultural technology company that specializes in using cold plasma to decontaminate seeds and foods efficiently and without compromising quality. We are seeking an experienced and innovative Electrical Engineer to lead the development of Clean Crop's power system and plasma reactor stack, and to seamlessly integrate this stack into our cutting-edge machines. As an integral member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in driving technological advancements that contribute to a sustainable and resilient global food supply.Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of Clean Crop's power system, including power supplies, electrical circuits, and control systems, to efficiently operate the plasma reactor stack.
- Collaborate with the Product Development team to enhance the performance, reliability, and safety of the power system and plasma reactor technology.
- Conduct simulations and testing to optimize the power system's efficiency and the plasma reactor's decontamination capabilities.
- Collaborate with other engineers and designers to integrate high voltage systems into the overall design of the equipment by participating in product development workflows (i.e. FMEA)
- Test and validate the performance of high voltage systems through prototype testing and experimentation.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to high voltage systems design, testing, and validation.
- Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and performance of high voltage systems, including using new materials and technologies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to high voltage electrical systems.
- Provide technical support to other engineers and technicians working with high voltage systems.
- Maintain awareness of emerging trends and technologies in the field of high voltage plasma electrical systems.
- The ideal candidate should have a strong background in electrical engineering focusing on high voltage systems, and experience working with cold plasma systems is ideal.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a proven track record of developing complex systems.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- A passion for safety with a demonstrated appreciation for putting high-voltage systems into customer's hands.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, focusing on high-voltage systems.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to high-voltage electrical systems.
- Knowledge of simulation and modeling software (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB) and electrical CAD tools.
- High Voltage circuit and controls design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Adaptability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
