We're looking for a Finance Manager to join our awesome team.

Your knowledge of financial best practice will make you an essential member of our team in central London. You will be responsible for running and leading our finance function alongside the executive team. This is an exciting opportunity to join as our first finance hire and develop a new function at a high-growth startup.

At every step, you’ll play a huge role in shaping the future of food.

This role is fully in person in London.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • building the finance function from the ground up
  • financial reporting
  • budgeting and financial modelling
  • managing payroll and options schemes
  • sourcing non-dilutive funding opportunities
  • supporting on raising equity financing
  • setting up processes for streamlined purchasing and financial operations
  • working on special projects in other operational and strategic business functions

You should have:
  • ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualification
  • 3-4 years’ experience at an accounting firm or in financial operations at an SME or startup
  • experience with financial process implementation at an SME or startup, including running a budgeting process and rapid cost optimisation
  • knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures and familiarity with finance regulations
  • hands-on experience with spreadsheets (e.g. MS Excel, Google sheets) and accounting software (e.g. Xero)
  • a passion to transition to a fast-paced, impactful startup
  • a talent for teamwork and collaboration
