About the role:
As Content Producer, you will help facilitate the production of the My Climate Journey podcast, the MCJ Startup Series, the MCJ Skilled Labor Series, and the MCJ Climate Capital Series. You will coordinate with the Content Lead and assist with various aspects of the production process for the podcast and subsequent promotional content to help ensure the success of our growing show.
Responsibilities:
- Review, edit, and summarize podcast show notes, optimizing content for search engines
- Create and export short and long-form video clips for social media channels, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
- Create additional channel-specific content to publish across web and social, including audiograms, quotes, images, etc.
- Coordinate with Content Lead in the distribution of MCJ’s podcast across multiple platforms
Skills:
- Familiarity with recording (i.e. Riverside) and transcription (i.e. Rev.com) software
- Understanding of SEO and analytics
- Video editing for web and social media
- Content creation in Canva
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Interest in climate
Compensation: $30/hour (15 hours per week)
*This part-time role would begin as a contract position with the potential to expand into a full-time role with the MCJ Collective team.
