Job Overview:

As a Community Operations Associate, your primary focus areas will be to oversee our application and onboarding systems, and assist the talent pipeline between community members and portfolio companies. You’ll operate within the ‘Community’ function of our team, working closely with Leone (Head of Community).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage application screening process, and member onboarding and offboarding workflows.
• Keep talent system updated - funneling and screening new members, whilst supporting Community Lead and MCJ partners in connecting talent to MCJ portfolio companies.
• Track and report operational efficiency across talent and member onboarding monthly.
• Potential to support other programming and strategic initiatives across MCJ, depending on time, timezone and your interests.

Skills:

• Experience with CRM and data management tools such as Airtable.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Prior work experience in an operations, community, founders associate or recruiting/sourcing/talent management role.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and learn quickly.
• Passion for working with startups, and a strong desire to make a meaningful contribution to the wider climate ecosystem.

Key Details:

• Compensation: $30 / hour
• Hours Per Week: 10 hours / week
• Location: We are a fully remote team, with colleagues spread across US, Canada and UK. Ability to work on either UK or US time is a plus.
• Start date: ASAP, but we can be somewhat flexible.
• Fixed Term / Duration: Minimum 6 months.
